The health plan validates this information at the time of any change in the practitioner's professional standing or every three years.

This is any specific area of training that the provider may have completed in addition to the requirements of their particular specialty. The information is self-reported. Once this specialized training has been added to a provider’s record it will remain active unless we are requested by the provider to remove it.
