Q: What is the difference among Aetna Better Health of Premier Plan MMAI (Medicare-Medicaid plan), Aetna Better Health Premier Plan (Medicaid-only) and Aetna Better Health of Illinois (Integrated Care Program) plan?

A: Aetna Better Health® Premier Plan MMAI (Medicare-Medicaid plan) is one plan that covers all health care needs for dual-eligible members (members who qualify for both Medicare and Medicaid). Dual-eligible members must also live in Cook, DuPage, Kane or Will counties. It is easy and convenient. You have one place to call for answers to your questions. You have one ID card to carry.
Aetna Better Health Premier Plan MMAI (Medicaid-only) is a Medicaid-only plan for dual-eligible members who choose to opt out of the Medicare portion of their health plan. Dual-eligible members must also live in Cook, DuPage, Kane or Will counties.
Aetna Better Health of Illinois (Integrated Care Program) is for adults with a disability ages 19 through 64 or adults age 65 and above. They qualify for Medicaid, but not Medicare. Members must live in one of these counties: Suburban Cook (ZIP codes that don't begin with 606), DuPage, Kane, Kankakee, Lake and Will.
