Seeing A Doctor

Seeing your primary care provider (PCP)

A primary care provider (PCP) is a doctor, nurse or clinic in our network that provides most of your health care. Your PCP is important. It should be the first place you go for the care you need to get well or stay healthy.

We ask that you see your PCP every three months. This gives your PCP the opportunity to go over any changes in your health and review all your medications. You can also talk to your case manager about your health care needs. He or she is there to help you schedule an appointment with your PCP if you need it.

When your PCP gets to know you well, he or she is more likely to notice any changes in your health care condition. Then your PCP can work quickly to take positive steps in your treatment.

You can find a provider through our online Find A Provider/Pharmacy search above.
